The in-row cooling units are available in 600mm and 900mm widths with the capacity to cool more than 100kW of IT load. Their 1200mm depth makes them compatible with cabinets used in today’s high-density data centers.

“When designing this product, our engineering team paid attention to the form and fit of the product and the ease of installation. Our in-row cooling units can be installed in less than a day, and provide a uniform look in the data center,” said Paul Weber, VP of Engineering. “We used only the highest quality components to achieve the best possible performance for our customers.”

The in-row cooling units are available in condensate water, chilled water and DX air- and water-cooled configurations to meet a wide range of needs. They include a wall of up to 18 variable-speed, electronically controlled fans that drive uniform airflow across data center cabinets. Redundant single- and three-phase automatic transfer switches, hot-swappable fans, and the ability to continue operating at reduced capacity in the event of a water chiller or compressor failure make the units highly reliable.

An intuitive touchscreen interface features Flex Management software that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to manage and balance cooling capacity according to shifts in the IT workload. The intelligent control panel allows multiple units to work together to maximize efficiency.

New Polymer Capacitors from New Yorker Electronics Demonstrate Increased Volumetric Efficiency

A 2017 Vishay Super 12 Featured Product, it combines polymer tantalum technology with Vishay’s patented multi-array packaging (MAP) to deliver the industry’s highest capacitance density with best-in-class ESR.

Available in the molded EE (7343-43) case code, the capacitors released today offer up to 25% better volumetric efficiency than similar devices, which allows for higher capacitance and voltage ratings. For example, their capacitance of 150µF at 30V is three times higher in capacitance than the closest competing device. They also offer a capacitance tolerance of ±20% and overvoltage ratings up to 75V.

The advanced packaging of the T59 series ensures ultra-low ESR from 25mΩ to 150mΩ at +25°C and 100kHz. By replacing multiple lower-capacitance devices, T59 series capacitors reduce component counts to save PCB space and lower costs in solid-state drives, networking equipment and motherboards. In these products, the capacitors are intended for decoupling, smoothing, filtering and energy storage applications.

The T59 series features ripple current from 1.3A to 3.1A at 100kHz and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. Ryonic Robotics Pipeline Inspections Vehicles Incorporate Perle Ethernet Extenders

Nashville, TN, August 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The estimated 3,500,000km of pipelines in 120 countries around the world are the most efficient way to transport oil, gas and other liquids. However, operators are under constant scrutiny to avoid the devastating economic and environmental impact of damaged or blocked pipelines. To ensure a safe and clear pipeline, internal inspections are carried out by unmanned “crawler robots” as part of routine maintenance procedures.

The Ryonic Robotics RMIS crawler enables an operator to “walk through” the pipe and examine any weld or flaw in further detail by creating a Virtual Reality (VR) environment of the space through which it moves. This is made possible by transmitting of large amounts of data from cameras, lasers and sonar sensors over a 1000m coax cable tethered to the robot. However, since Ethernet data transmission is limited to 100m, they need to deploy Ethernet Extenders.

After testing equipment from several vendors in their labs, Rick Montgomery, Lead Roboticist at Ryonic Robotics, chose Perle Ethernet Extenders due to their small size, light-weight and high data transmission speeds.

Montgomery comments, To transmit power and data as the length of the tether cable increases becomes more and more difficult. Power is not so difficult but data communication is the key to the whole exercise.

Nomad GCS Supports “Eclipsville” with Equipment and Personnel

Kalispell, MT, August 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- When the total solar eclipse traces its path across North America on August 21, everyone in every state will be able to experience the event to some degree. Hopkinsville, Kentucky (population 33,000), which will experience the longest period of eclipse totality, is expected to draw upwards of 200,000 out-of-towners. Along with its partners in the area, Nomad is bringing vital equipment and services to support the town. In fact, the company’s TCV (Tactical Command Vehicle) is The Official Command Vehicle of Eclipsville (the alias Hopkinsville has given itself for the event).

“Nomad is pleased to contribute vehicle assets and personnel,” says Petro. “The TCV is uniquely equipped for just this kind of mission, where both communication and transportation arteries may become choked. It can travel off-pavement, deploy quickly, and essentially run the town’s critical operations from any location.”

The update includes an improved design which fits seamlessly into the Google style. In addition, calendar sync from Google Calendar to Dynamics CRM or from CRM to Google Calendar is another valuable upgrade from previous versions.
