Pergam Launches World’s First Remote Ammonia Sensor

Seattle, WA, April 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The newly launched FDL-7 [NH3] is the first instrument that allows for remote detection of ammonia leaks up to a distance of 65 ft. / 20 m. Ammonia gas is widely used in different industrial environments. Diligent leak monitoring is of utmost importance, especially if used in indoor applications. High concentrations present a serious health hazard; even small ammonia leaks cause irritation of the eyes. Existing solutions warn reliably if a leak is present, locating the exact source of the leak with existing methods is time consuming and requires close proximity to the leak.

The novel FDL-7 [NH3] is based on tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS). This technology is already broadly used to detect natural gas / methane for more than ten years. Now, it is also available for ammonia. A highly visible green guide laser shows exactly the measurement position to easily identify the leak. The compact handheld instrument is designed for all leak detection tasks in the ammonia processing industry including production and transport industry. The operation is self-explanatory and particularly suitable for emergency on-site services. Via the ATEX Zone II certification it can be applied in explosion hazardous areas where only intrinsically safe equipment is allowed.

The instrument is commercially available and distributed by Pergam Technical Services, Inc. A 24-months manufacturer warranty is complementary.

Entity Framework Core Support in New Versions of Devart ADO.NET Providers

dotConnect for Oracle New Features

The new version of dotConnect for Oracle contains a number of improvements. Here are main of them:

OracleLoader Improvements

Now OracleLoader has the Options property, which allows you to configure data loading behavior: keep constraints enabled during loading data, disable table logging, indexes, and triggers, use its own transaction for loading data, etc. New LoadTable method overloads allow you to load rows from a DataReader, array of DataRow objects or only rows with specific RowState from a DataTable. OracleLoader also now can load data to a specific partition of the partitioned table. A new RowsCopied event allows tracking data loading progress and correct abortion of the operation when necessary.

Performance Counters Support

dotConnect for Oracle now supports performance counters, providing various information about active/inactive/pooled connections, connects per second, etc. You can view this information in Windows Performance Monitor or access it programmatically.

Note that they count only connections with the Use Performance Monitor connection string parameter set to true, and there should be at least one application with such connection running in order to see these counters in Windows Performance Monitor.

Transaction Guard Support

New version of dotConnect for Oracle provides advanced support for Transaction Guard with the new OracleLogicalTransaction class and OracleLogicalTransaction property of the OracleConnection class.

Source Edition

Now you can get source access to the OCI mode implementation of all the dotConnect for Oracle runtime classes by purchasing a license for the Professional Edition with Source Code. It has the same features as the Professional Edition and includes the source code for most of the runtime classes and features. Note that it does not include sources for design-time features, like Entity Developer or Package Wizard, and source code for the Direct mode comes in the obfuscated form.

This month’s release provides a new feature of sending calendar invitations using the API’s Exchange Web Service client, similar to Microsoft Exchange’s behavior. This functionality requires the access delegation to the invitee. In addition, the invitation needs to be sent as TNEF EML by converting the MSG using the MailMessageInterpretor. With this month’s release, It has enhanced the IMAP client to support moving messages from one folder to another. The IMAP client now offers the moveMessage method that uses the message’s unique Id or sequence number to move a message across folders. This month’s release also enhances the IMAP client by providing paging support for listing searched messages. The listMessagesByPage method can be used to specify the search criterion and number of messages per page for retrieving the messages. Aspose.Email for Java already supports reading Outlook Template (OFT) files. This month’s release further enhances this functionality by providing support for saving messages to OFT format. The API supports saving EML as well as MSG file types to OFT formats. With this month’s release, It has improved the implementation of methods for listing items with paging support using the API clients. PopIsle Becomes the First Ad Network to Pay with BitCoin
