Recursive Calculation of Formulas & Fonts Configuration for Rendering Spreadsheets Using Aspose.Cells for Java 8.9.2

Aspose team is pleased to announce the new release of Aspose.Cells for Java 8.9.2. This release includes many new features and enhancements along with some critical bug fixes that further improve the overall stability of the API. Aspose.Cells for Java API has exposed a number of new classes as well as an enumeration to configure font sources for rendering spreadsheets to image formats and PDF. Most important class is the FontConfigs which has many useful factory methods to either set the font sources or set the font substitution along with some inspection APIs to retrieve the list of specified font sources as well as font substitutions. Developers can Set Font Sources and can also Substitute Fonts. It has exposed the Boolean type property to true and passing the object to calculateFormula method directs the Aspose.Cells APIs to calculate the dependent cells recursively when calculating cells which depends on other cells. Aspose.Cells for Java API has exposed the Boolean type property along with the an overload of Cells.copyRows method in order to facilitate the copy rows operation when rows to be copied also contains a chart and its data source. Users can make use of these new APIs to point the chart’s data source to the source or destination worksheets. It allows to get/set the IFilePathProvider for exporting worksheets to separate HTML files. These new APIs are helpful in scenarios where hyperlinks in one worksheet points to a location in another worksheet, where application requirement is to render each worksheet to separate HTML file. Implementing the IFilePathProvider allows to keep the aforementioned hyperlinks intact regardless of the fact that they are pointing to a location in a separate resultant HTML file. This release includes some important enhancements, such as HTML rendering engine for shapes such as TextBoxes, Improved PDF rendering engine for charts as well as cell text alignment, Tweaked Aspose.Cells’ formula calculation engine to match the results with Excel application and Handled a few exceptions such as IndexOutOfBoundsException, NumberFormatException & OutOfMemoryError for certain scenarios. This release includes several enhanced features and bug fixes as listed below

• Calculation time has increased with recent API revisions
• User configurable fonts substitution mechanism is required
• Workbook.calculateFormula() method never terminates for the source Excel file
• Unable to catch image resource while rendering spreadsheet to HTML with IStreamProvider
• Problem with rendering CheckBoxes to HTML
• Issue with getDisplayStringValue() for Date formatted values
• Using Light Cells APIs to process an XLS file, the first cell of the first sheet is always processed
• Character spacing and break not correct for vertical text while rendering spreadsheet to PDF
• Column widths are different on CentOS than on Windows
• Chart scale has shifted while rendering spreadsheet to PDF
• Alignment problem when rendering an Excel file to PDF
• Formatting of legend entries is disturbed while rendering spreadsheet to PDF
• Horizontal axis labels have not been rendered completely, that is; all labels are missing some contents in the rendered image.
• File is corrupted after formula calculation and save
• Calculation result is not correct
• Array Formula is not being calculated properly
• Some values from the Excel file are missing in the output HTML - XLS to HTML conversion

NAGRA and MStar Enable Secure Delivery of Pay-TV Directly to Connected STBS and TVs

This gives pay-TV operators superior security for high-value pay-TV services and enables them to license 4K-UHD and HDR content from all major Hollywood studios.

NAGRA NOCS3 and anyCAST CONNECT converged CAS/DRM client are now directly integrated into MStar chipsets and the MStar Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). The joint STB solution integrates NAGRA’s NOCS3 technology with MStar’s K6 and K7Plus chipsets, enabling two-way cable operators and telcos to deploy advanced boxes supporting connected broadcast, IPTV, operator OTT and third-party OTT services like Netflix, and in-home content distribution, all secured by a single CONNECT client. The joint solution has also been pre-integrated with NAGRA MediaLive OS, RDK 2 and Android operating systems in order to provide service providers with a wide variety of choices.

The MStar EMC5 television SoC integration enables pay-TV service providers to deliver high-value premium content directly to supported TVs without a set-top box while still meeting strict MovieLabs standards for Enhanced Content Protection. Service providers can implement their own Electronic Program Guide using the TV manufacturer’s SDK or the HbbTV standard.

Bentek Introduces Commercial Balance of System Product Line Additions at SPI 2016 in Las Vegas

These products include the Bentek Arc Fault (AF2) combiner for projects that need to adhere to current NEC AFCI requirements and the cost reduced UTS2 string combiner line for those that don’t. “The new 1000VDC AF2 and UTS2 products offer enhanced safety and product features at cost effective price levels that will help keep our customers competitive in a challenging market,” said John H. Bentek 1000VDC AF2 Arc Fault Circuit Interruption String Combiners
Bentek introduces its 2nd generation 1000VDC AFCI string combiner with industry leading string-level Arc-Fault Detection technology (1 sensor per input) that virtually eliminates nuisance trips and resultant truck rolls. “This alone will save our customers thousands of dollars per project during commissioning and O&M phases,” said John H. Buckley, Executive Sales and VP of Marketing.

The Bentek AF2 enables systems to be in compliance with NEC 2011 & 2014 690.11 while allowing designers to retain central inverter system array architecture. The AF2 utilizes a reliable UL98B listed trippable load-break disconnect switch in place of a typical contactor. The switch functions as a manual isolation switch and trips automatically when arc faults are detected. There is no auxiliary power supply required since each AF2 has a DC-DC Power Supply self-powered from the DC array. The Bentek AF2 can also be ordered with an optional AC based power supply that supports a rapid shutdown function that helps commercial systems meet NEC 690.12 code compliance.

Lanner, NTT Lagopus Exchange SDN Switch Compatibility Co-Certifications

New Taipei City, Taiwan, September 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Lanner today announced that its network appliance FW-7551 has been certified to be compatible with NTT Lagopus SDN software switch. Lagopus, functioning as Open Source Software (OSS), is developed by NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation) to provide a high-performance and flexible functionality suitable for data centers and wide area network applications. In the mean time, Lanner has certified Lagopus as a software switch compatible with FW-7551 and potentially Lanner’s other network appliances. The exchanged co-certifications will enhance both parties to be even dynamic in the SDN ecosystem.

The release of Lagopus by NTT is considered as an initiative to expand OSS-based SDN ecosystems by NTT. In recent years, the network virtualization is intensively discussed due to its high flexibility, scalability and investment optimization. By taking the software-oriented approach instead of a hardware orientation, Lagopus conforms to OpenFlow specifications and supports a wide range of mainstream network protocols in order to improve serviceability and stability. With DPDK, Lagopus is able to deliver high performance for SDN applications.
