Edmonton Construction Leader M.A.P. Group of Companies Selects Local ERP Company as New Software Vendor

Edmonton, Canada, July 26, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Founded in 1983 by Nick Matera, the M.A.P. Group of Companies is comprised of a number of construction-based organizations, including the three primaries: M.A.P. Water & Sewer Services Ltd., M.A.P. Earthworks Ltd., and Williamson Equipment. "In the industry of which my company operates, indeed our products operate in adherence with ASTM standards, I would never suggest that the technician is removed from the equation. When one is using equipment that automates a process, it should be anticipated that there will be considerable gains in both quantity, and quality, by the simple virtue that the operator, technician or engineer now has upwards of 60% of their demanded time free to offer increased diligence on the quality or additional testing."

He goes on to say, “...the level of importance of the accuracy of the raw production data, the derived data; the time it takes to get said facts, while also needing to get the data to all appropriate locations is crucial. Looking specifically at the aggregate industry, the quality control data needs to be available as fast as possible where even under full automation, there is an estimated 45 minutes, to over an hour lag in the result stream where production rates can exceed 600 tons per hour. Back when I was overseeing production and quality control, the data stream on aggregate testing needed to go back to the quarry, to the asphalt plant, to the road and corporate at the same time and in short order.”

Costonis explains a brief study as relates the hot mix industry, “If my crusher is producing 2,000 gross tons production per hour and a regular test takes 2+ hours, I made 4,000 tons of material without verification of what I produced until I already produced said product. If my hot mix plant produces 600 tons per hour, I sent 1,200 tons through before testing was completed. Is there any logic to that? I don’t think so. Our product line guided by the TITAP reduced testing time by upwards of 60%. At this point, its simple mathematics that show the reduced exposure with full automation and full integration.”

While discussing industry in general, Costonis - who designs all products from Advanced Concepts - offers a strong statement, "...I don’t care what industry you’re in, what you produce, what your production demands are; full automation is here. You’re either adopting automation, or your lack thereof will likely lead to your company’s demise.

"Further compounding the issue, the biggest problem in industry around the world is the fact that over 90% of automation improvements are in the production side of the house. Fantastic, now you can produce 1,000,000 widgets a day, but with a 40% failure rate. Someone please answer me this, at what point in time does the quality control sector get automated and integrated to be able to keep up with the rates of production offered by automated facilities?"

It is clear that Costonis has positioned Advanced Concepts & Engineering to deliver the solution to the aggregate quality control industry through the roll out of his product line, “I can only hope that other industries will adapt. Who knows, we just might be able to offer solutions to other industries should the request arise.”

15 Year Old Teen, Jjosh, Releases His First Single and Will Audition for American Idol 2017 Making His Life Long Dream Come True

Tampa, FL, July 26, 2017 --(PR.com)-- JJosh, an aspiring R&B teen artist, will finally get his wish, which si from the age of seven he dreamed to audition for American Idol. The official casting company to this season’s upcoming show called his production company and connected with JJosh extending the invitation to audition directly for the Executive Producers of American Idol 2017 in Orlando, Florida on August 17, 2017.

Releasing his first single titled, “7 Years,” just weeks before his 15th birthday earlier this summer, he wanted to record his own rendition of the original song by Grammy® Nominated singer-songwriter, Lukas Graham’s, hit single. JJosh’s version of the song was arranged and produced by Grammy® Award winning pianist, Lannie Battistini under the Hands in Motion Music label.

“I am a fan of Lukas Graham and related to this song from the first time I heard it. That’s why I chose this song as my first single. I just added that touch of R&B which is in my soul,” says JJosh.

JJosh, born in Okinawa, Japan, go his musical prowess started growing as early as 3, when his mom recalls him singing in his sleep and later on recalls him remixing musical arrangements vocally in the shower. During his first public performance his mother recalls how he “wowed the audience” with his rendition of Boogie Wonderland, sustaining the high pitch notes. Since 2012, he’s been an active member of Revealing Truth Ministries Voices of Legacy Choir and has had the privilege to lead the choir for special concerts, performances, and mission trips.

At 12 years old, JJosh competed at Ybor’s Got Talent (a local Singing Contest in Tampa Bay area) which got the attention of producer Lannie Battistini, who was a judge on the panel. He was moved by the energy JJosh put into his performance and singing. “This kid is gonna be a hit one day,” said Lannie recalling his first thoughts.

JJosh is considered by those that listen to him to be an old soul with a young charm. He is inspired heavily by old school and vintage styles, including Elvis, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. His R&B inspirations are drawn from artists such as Kanye West and Drake, as well as being open to all kinds of inspiration, reworking it into his own sound and voice comfortably. “This has always been my dream,” says JJosh. “If I keep my passion with the support of my family and friends, I know I can do this.”

GL Enhances GSM A Over IP Interface Emulator

Speaking to the press, Mr. Jagdish Vadalia, a Senior Manager for product development of the company said, "GL’s MAPS™ GSM A over IP Interface Emulator is an advanced protocol simulator/tester for GSM Simulation over A Interface that can exchange BSSMAP and DTAP messages and signalling specification as defined by 3GPP standards. The tester supports testing network elements MSC and BSC, error tracking, regression testing, conformance testing, load testing/call generation and generation of high volumes of GSM traffic."

He added, “MAPS™ GSM A over IP Emulator can run pre-defined test scenarios against DUTs in a controlled & deterministic manner. It supports mobility management procedures such as Location Management Procedure, Mobile Originating and Terminating Procedures, and Handover Management Procedures. The emulator also supports load testing (high volume of calls with traffic) using MAPS™ HD (High Density), a network appliance that is designed to easily achieve up to 20,000 endpoints per appliance (5000 per port).”

Mr.Vadalia, emphasizing on the enhancements introduced, further explained, “A few significant enhancements included with latest MAPS™ GSM A over IP Emulator are – Support for handling Handover Management procedures, Support for CSV based Subscriber profiles files for load testing, User-defined Statistics and Graph generation.

When a mobile user travels across two different cell coverage areas within active call duration, the call is transferred to the new cell’s base station. When the user is travelling across two different cell coverage areas, the Handover procedures are initiated from old BSC to new BSC via MSC. These procedures can be simulated using MAPS™ GSM A over IP Emulator.

To perform Bulk Call Generation, several UE/Subscriber configuration files are required. The UE/Subscriber configuration files can be created using regular Profile Editors (XML Based), using CSV based profiles, or using Auto Generation feature. MAPS™ GSM A over IP supports CSV based profiles, with which, it is possible to define up to 20,000 subscriber entries with unique called number, calling number, and other subscriber specific information. For massive UE simulation, it is recommended to use CSV option, with which MAPS™ access the UE related information directly from CSV files.

As in real-time scenario, MAPS™ GSM A over IP supports simulation of different types of calls such as Mobile Originated Voice calls, Mobile Originated SMS, Location Updates, and more. However, it is not easy to change and maintain the CSV based subscriber profiles for different type of call simulation. So, MAPS™ includes an option to configure the Ratio (%) of SMS Calls out of Total number of Calls, based on which MAPS™ will generate SMS with MO Voice calls.

All call handling scripts are assessed by MAPS™ GSM A over IP to provide statistical information. Corresponding graphs can be generated for monitoring signaling and traffic performance. Users can customize voice quality statistics parameters for RTP, which includes metrics such as Listening MOS, Conversational MOS, Packet Loss, Discarded Packets, Out of Sequence Packets, Duplicate Packets, Delay and Jitter.

These statistics are calculated and updated periodically on run time. Users can also customize scripts to create various types of graphs such as Pie graph, Line graph, Multi-Line graph, Bar graph, and Point graph to plot RTP statistical information. Report generation ability allows further to export call statistics in PDF and XML file formats.

Consolidated traffic profile allows simultaneous calls to be simulated with different traffic types. Supports M3UA termination type as IPSP for Point to Point associations, along with signalling gateway process (SGP), and application server process (ASP).”

He told the interviewer about how their company designs and develops pixel-perfect, functionally excellent and yet user-friendly applications in the attempt to fulfill the client’s requirements and expectations in a timely fashion. “We emphasize on most relevant & latest technology according to the client’s project, which is further accompanied by a very different and innovative approach to accomplish perfection. Requirement and budget, both are considered while the selection of technology,” Mr. Vikash explains further.

The discussion proceeded with a diverse set of questions about the clientele and industries targeted by Xtreem Solution. The interviewer looked a bit curious while asking about Mobile App Development Company’s specialty as he asked about the personal favorite industry of the co-founder. The interview also covered a brief discussion about Quality Analysis, Quality Checking, designing approach, how they development processes are based on the real-world, and what it takes to keep an app bug-free. Mr. Vikash favored the native platform applications above web and hybrid developments as it works better with built-in features of the device. But at the same time, he said that the selection of platform depends on cost and time as well. So, hybrid apps can be better too for some scenarios.

Before wrapping up the interview session, the co-founder told that their company is equally comfortable with Android and iOS developments. While comparing the two technologies, he said, “iOS allows functionality for multi-finger touch, along with providing a good level of security for the users. It is easier to develop iOS apps too but the process is quite time-consuming as reviewing and edits are required. So, you may need to compromise with the original idea sometimes. On the other hand, Android has no such restrictions and has multiple times more users than Apple platform. However, achieving compatibility for each screen size and device type is a troublesome task. Also, the monetization procedure is advertisement-based and hence degrades the user experience. So, both technologies have their pros and cons.”

LASTRADA Partners and CMTG Quickly Implement LASTRADA™

El Dorado Hills, CA, July 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- LASTRADA Partners completed the successful implementation of LASTRADA™ software for Kansas City-based Construction Materials Testing Group (CMTG), a subsidiary of Superior Bowen Company. CMTG went live on May 31, 2017 after a very short six week implementation period, following their April 19, 2017 training in Kansas City. CMTG now utilizes the LASTRADA™ hot mix asphalt and binder testing modules to provide quality control support for Superior Bowen’s hot mix asphalt plants, as well as material testing and engineering services for select CMTG customers.

Allen Holloway, CMTG Lab Manager, states, “We became familiar with the functions and tools available in LASTRADA through demonstrations by LASTRADA Partners and demonstrations from other LASTRADA users. We were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to implement LASTRADA into our operation, given the flexibility of the system.”

CMTG provides HMA volumetric testing and performance testing, aggregate quality testing of imported aggregates, and binder testing for six Superior Bowen production facilities in the Midwest. CMTG is a commercial construction materials testing and engineering laboratory providing these services to customers outside of Superior Bowen as well.
